Submission Information
Submissions must not substantially duplicate work that any of the authors has published elsewhere or has submitted in parallel to any journal or conference/workshop that publishes proceedings. Authors may not submit the work to any other venue with published proceedings until after the date of notification of acceptance/rejection, or after formally withdrawing their submission from CT-RSA. Accepted submissions may not appear in any other conference or workshop that publishes proceedings. The CT-RSA chair reserves the right to share information about submissions with other program committees to detect parallel submissions. The IACR policy on irregular submissions will be strictly enforced.
Submissions must be anonymous, with no author names, affiliations, acknowledgments, or obvious references. Submissions must be written in English. Submissions should begin with a title, and a short abstract. The main body of submissions should be at most 24 pages, including title, abstract, and bibliography, using Springer's LNCS LaTeX format (instructions here) with no changes to the style. Submissions may contain any amount of material in clearly marked appendices following the main body of the paper. However, reviewers are not required to read appendices; the paper must be intelligible without them.
Submissions must be in PDF format and be submitted electronically to the submission website. Submissions must have page numbers, e.g., using LaTeX command \pagestyle{plain}.
Systematization of Knowledge papers should have a title that begins with “SoK:” to make it clear to reviewers that this is an SoK paper. Since these papers are expected to have more references than a typical research paper, SoK papers may be at most 28 pages in the format specified above.
Submissions that do not follow these guidelines may be rejected without consideration of their merits.
Conflicts of interest
We adopt the standard IACR policy on conflicts of interest. An automatic conflict of interest exists between author and reviewer:
- if one is or was the thesis advisor to the other, no matter how long ago;
- if they shared an institutional affiliation within the prior two years;
- if they published two or more jointly authored works in the last three years; or
- if they are immediate family members.
Publication and Presentation Information
Accepted papers will be published by Springer in the LNCS series. The corresponding author of each accepted paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.
CT-RSA is scheduled to be an in-person event. One of the things that makes CT-RSA special is the interaction between academia and industry. For that reason, it is strongly preferred that authors of accepted papers present their work in-person. Exceptions will be made only in the case of serious extenuating circumstances, such as COVID restrictions, visa delays, and other emergencies. The presenter of each paper will be given a free Full Pass to RSA Conference.
